Information for Visitors

On this page you will find some information about how to find us, and what facilities there are.

Have a look too at the Worship with Us page for some information about what happens in church services, and the Our Building and Halls and Rooms pages to get your bearings. Our rooms are let out for many purposes - parties, meetings, sports and social clubs, choir practice, drama practice, music exams, you name it! So we have people visiting us all the time.

How to find us

The church is north of Sutton Coldfield on the corner of Lichfield Road (A5127) and Four Oaks Road (A454). We overlook the roundabout at the entrance to Four Oaks Railway Station. The post code for the church is B74 2UU.

Parking

Parking is limited on the church premises, but there are some spaces there for Blue Badge Holders, and a drop off point in the car park right beside the door.  We also have space in the car park for bicycles.

You get into the church's car park from Lichfield Road (the side of the church facing towards the railway station).

There is also some kerbside parking on the Lichfield Road itself near the entrance to our car park. Please don't park on the other side of church (Four Oaks Road). Parking there is dangerous - and you're likely to get a ticket too!

On Sundays and for events in the evenings visitors can usually find space in the large station car park, but on weekdays this is usually full.

Public Transport

Four Oaks Railway Station is close by, you can actually see the church when you get off the train. The station is on the Cross City Line with a good regular service between Lichfield and Birmingham New Street. You can check on train times using the journey planner on the National Rail website.

A number of buses stop in Lichfield Road, very close to the church. We are easy to reach from Lichfield, Walsall, Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham, and places in between. You can find out which buses are best for your journey by using the journey planner on the Network West Midlands website.

Access

The front entrance to the church has several steps, but there is level access to the church and its buildings through the door leading directly from our car park (see below). For a lot of people this is the real "front door" and it's where you will find the office. There are sliding doors there which are far easier for anyone who uses a wheelchair or has a buggy to push. This is also the access to use if you are visiting us for a function or a meeting, or for anything else not related to a service in the church itself.

Facilities

The refurbishment works extended to renewing the toilets, including the accessible toilet which also has baby changing facilities.

Large print books are available. For those with hearing difficulties there is normally an induction loop in the church and facilities in some of the rooms.

Please contact the office if we can help with other needs. We will do our best to assist.
